Come with us on a journey as we take you through the beautiful streets of Mexico City, Queretaro, Taxco, Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende. Jose Angel is the creator and founder of “Inspired By Cinema”, a world-renowned international award winning & published documentary photographer, director and cinematographer based between the U.S & Mexico and extending his brand as far as London. As a photographer and filmmaker very early on in life I knew that I wanted to create and tell stories with my photography and filmmaking, I was heavily influenced by these great mentors and legends Alfonso Cuarón, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Pedro Pablo Ibarra and Guillermo del Toro, Mexico's finest. So it only made sense that I would go on to create a short story about my culture, heritage and traditions as a proud Mexican. Hopefully this short story inspires you and motivates you to visit our beautiful Mexico and everything we have to offer. I also wanted to take the time for this special moment to dedicate this story to my dear parents may they rest in peace. Thank you for always instilling in me the importance of being a proud Mexican.

From harvesting blue agave for tequila as the Aztecs once did, to slow cooking traditional mole sauce in Oaxaca, join Longoria as she journeys across the many vibrant regions of Mexico to reveal its unique and colorful cuisines. While hosting Searching for Mexico on CNN, Eva Longoria reconnected with her Mexican roots and tasted iconic Mexican dishes like meat-stuffed Chiles en Nogada draped in a creamy walnut sauce and the Yucatán classic Pollo Asado, made with an aromatic garlic-citrus-achiote paste. In My Mexican Kitchen, she embraces the techniques and flavors she discovered and brings them home to her Southern California kitchen. From dishes based on long-heeded Aztec traditions like Chicken Enchiladas with Salsa Verde to her Tia Elsa’s Pork and Red Chile Tamales and Conchas that remind her of Mexico City, each recipe offers a delicious tribute to Mexican food and flavors.

Land of Women stars Eva Longoria as Gala, a New York empty nester whose life is turned upside down when her husband implicates the family in financial improprieties, and she is forced to flee the city alongside her aging mother (Maura) and teenage daughter (Bazúa). To escape the dangerous criminals to whom Gala’s now vanished husband is indebted, the three women hide in the same charming wine town in northern Spain that Gala’s mother fled 50 years ago, vowing never to return. The women seek to start anew and hope their identities will remain unknown, but gossip in the small town quickly spreads, unraveling their deepest family secrets and truths.

Jose Angel, owner of Jose Angel Films © and founder of Inspired by Cinema is a world-renowned international award winning & published documentary photographer, director and cinematographer based between the U.S & Mexico and extending his brand as far as London, his filmmaking & directing style is far from normal. What started out as a simple idea to pick up a camera in 1997 became his biggest passion leading up into 2024 and closely reaching 3 decades of experience in the world of photography and telling stories behind the lens. As a brand ambassador Jose Angel went on to collaborate with some of the biggest names and brands in the industry and hasn’t looked back ever since. Growing up in the rough streets of Chicago and being surrounded by drugs, gangs, shootings and violence in his neighborhood wasn't the easiest or the best lifestyle for him as a kid, he lost a few close friends along the way due to gangs, drugs, shootings and violence in Chicago. Having family members and friends that had ties to gangs made him realize quickly that he needed to choose a different path for his future and that’s when he picked up his first camera and that’s when his journey into photography & filmmaking started and found a way to tell stories one frame at a time and the rest was history………..
